June 1, Meeting of Tri-Town Republicans

A meeting was recently held in Whitman bringing together Republicans from all three towns of the 7th Plymouth District.  The district includes the Towns of Abington, East Bridgewater and Whitman. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss issues that concern the district, organize efforts for the upcoming political season and endorse a candidate for the open seat in the House of Representatives.  All three Republican Town Committees were in attendance.  Meeting organizer Brian J.Bezanson, Whitman Selectman and Town Committee Vice Chair, presided over the well-attended event.  After an evening of insightful discussion, the Tri-Town Republicans voted unanimously to endorse candidate Andrew Burbine of Abington. The consensus of the group was that Andrew Burbine is the right candidate at the right time for the right reasons.
Former State Senator Ned Kirby said that this was the first time in more than twenty years that the Tri-Town Republicans have had this type of meeting.  For more information on joining the effort, contact Brian J.Bezanson at (781) 447-0806 or email BrianJBezanson@comcast.net
